Adarsh Mahila Mahavidyalaya Bhiwani was established in 1970 with a mission and vision of empowering women, coming from the diverse background. Mahavidyalaya is enhancing the intellectual ability of students along with imparting the quality education to them for holistic development. The institution is nurturing their inner talents.
Excellence in infrastructure: To improve the student outcomes, better instructions and to reduce dropout rates, Mahavidyalaya is providing a high quality infrastructure. In the campus there are well equipped laboratories, airy class rooms, well-furnished library, Principal office, admin block, staffroom, cycle stand, fully A.C. auditorium, girls hostels, playground, basket ball ground, athletic track, mess, canteen, computer labs etc., providing a healthy and pleasant environment for the education, comfort and protection. Campus of the college had been gated. Safety & security is under the observation of CCTV cameras provided at appropriate places. Mahavidyalaya is providing the green and clean environment and promotes the awareness of making the environment clean and green. The IQAC of the college organizes environment audit, green audit, water audit and vehicle audit of the college time to time. In the college campus there are many parks, indoor plants, varieties of shrubs, herbs, medicinal plants and trees. As water conservation measures the rain water harvest system, water tanks, borewells and ROs are here in the campus. LED’s and Roof top solar panel are here as alternate sources of energy. Mahavidyalaya is known for proper hygiene, neat and clean campus and washrooms, dustbins at appropriate places and waste segregation methods in the city. Wi-Fi facility and smart boards are also here in the campus.
Excellence in sports: Mahavidyalaya is providing the best opportunities to their students in the field of sports keeping in mind that failure and success are complement of one another which could not be considered by the losses or wins rather these require personal excellence. For this institution is providing such a sport environment to the students through which they could develop the interpersonal skills like punctuality, trust, accountability, communication, patience and leadership. The qualified and trained coaches in the college trains the girls to explore their inner talent. Students bring Loral to the college in many fields of sports.
OUR ACHIEVEMENTS
Excellence in cultural and Co- curricular activities: Mahavidyalaya ensures the participation of students in the cultural life as it believes in imparting education via culture to create interest in young minds. Through cultural and co-curricular activities the students could get an opportunity to interact with others. The college is providing such an environment to the students in which they are attaining confidence, performing better, developing their personality and are shaping their career. Different departments and cells of the college organize activities in this direction like rangoli competitions, dance competitions, singing, poster making, painting, craft making, stitching, pot making, drama, shalok uchharan , Add making etc. In the beginning of every session the institution organizes talent hunt show so that the inner talent of student could be identified and Staff could give shape to students through which they could be able to participate at zonal, inter zonal or at national level competitions. In addition to it during the session, Mahavidyalaya organizes cultural programes on the occasion of Republic day, Independence Day, sports functions, convocation function, alumni meet and in closing ceremony of NSS camps etc. Students of the college participate in Youth festival and win many positions at national level. Students and staff also promotes our rich heritage via organization of many activities and awareness programes. They are giving stress on traditional food items, paintings, fabric painting, stitching, pottery, classical music, classical and traditional dances, shlokas and many more through heritage and hobby club. As a result they are giving their better results in competitions and in youth festivals. Mahavidyalaya is promoting hobby classes and skill development programes for attaining excellences.
Excellence in academics: For successful development of students it is essential to have academic achievements. Mahavidyalaya knows that academic achievements are demanding the high learning goals, better academic environment, highly qualified and dedicated staff, continuous assessment process and above all the motivation. From last fifty years this institution is showing the better results in academics. The management and staff of the college are providing such in environment to the students in which they are giving their best. Mahavidyalaya has many courses at U.G and P.G level. Every course is having its society or cell. The students and staff jointly run it by organizing many academic activities along with class room teaching using audio visual aids & I.T. The students are assessed by class tests, assignments, internal assessment and examination. In addition to it the students get motivation via the extension lectures and workshops of some renewed personalities. Some academic activities like essay writing competition, slogan writing, poster making, powerpoint presentation competition, paper reading contest, model exhibition, quiz contest and group discussions etc. Have also been organized to enhance the knowledge of the students. The staff also gives special attention on the weak and gem students to enhance their academic capabilities. The rich infrastructure of the college like library, laboratories, airy class rooms, furniture & better quality instruments in laboratory also provide well teaching environment.
