Green Club Organizes Extension Lecture on Gender Equality and Sustainability

On March 8, 2025, the Green Club celebrated International Women’s Day by organizing an extension lecture on “Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow.” The session featured an insightful lecture by Ms. Minakshi (Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry), which was well received by students and faculty members.The event was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Principal Dr. Alka Mittal. Vice Principal Dr. Aparna Batra highlighted the significance of a sustainable planet and the historical role of women in environmental protection. She encouraged students to create awareness at home and understand the link between gender equality and environmental conservation.Dr. Suman (Coordinator, Green Club) addressed the gathering, stressing the importance of environmental conservation in preventing health risks and ensuring survival on Earth. The presence of faculty members, including Dr. Rinku Aggarwal, Ms. Jonika (Convenor, Green Club), Ms. Simran, Dr. Mahima, and Ms. Tanya, enriched the event, making it a meaningful and impactful experience for all.
