Department of Mathematics organized an extension lecture.
The Department of Mathematics organized an enlightening extension lecture, “Dimensions and Recent Developments of Coding Theory,” delivered by Dr. Anu Kathuria, Assistant Professor at TIT&S Bhiwani. She explained how coding theory, along with modern cryptography, is crucial in protecting information and how the theory offers valuable protection against fraud, identity theft, and cyber-attacks.All UG (Computer Science) and postgraduate students of mathematics attended the lecture, actively engaging with Dr. Kathuria’s insightful explanations. She also answered the queries asked by the students, providing clarity on complex concepts. The lecture’s impacted Deeper understanding of coding theory and cryptography and Inspired interest in research and applications.Principal Dr. Alka Mittal commended the Mathematics Department’s initiative, recognizing its value in enhancing students knowledge and expertise.
